I am thinking about trading up from my B7500 with LA 272 loader and 54" belly mower to a B2710 with a 402 loader and a 60" deck. I don't really need to trade up, but those extra horses are just hard to resist. What I need help with is the price, so I'll lay out the details, and perhaps you all could give me some input.

My current tractor, the B7500 mentioned at the start of the post, is exactly 2 years old and has 252 hours on it. It's still in really excellent condition and I owe $9000.00 on it which of course the dealer will have to pay off.

The deal is this... my trade in with no money down would have me financing at $19,000.00. That would be an out the door price that INCLUDES tax. Does that sound pretty good?

From what I have seen on the board here, the average price of a b2710 with a loader runs about $16,500. List price on a 60" deck is I think around $2500.00. That would put the total up to about $19,000.00 plus $1140.00 tax would be a grand total of $2140.00. That would mean they are giving me $10,140 for my trade in...

seems like I might be able to do a little better. Do you think I would be better off selling my tractor outright instead of trading it off? let me know what you guys think. thanks in advance!

Try looking at this site
http://www.kazez.com/~will/kubota.html

Some guy put it together, it gives a good idea of prices for various Kubota products.

Good Luck
